AAUW Scholarship Fund - Durango Branch
This scholarship has been created from three individual scholarship funds – the Cheryl Jackson Endowed Scholarship, the Janet Watson Endowed Scholarship, and the Virginia Schoser Endowed Scholarship – to establish a single scholarship fund indicative of their values and mission to advance gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. It is awarded to applicants who are full-time student(s) in good academic standing progressing toward graduation. Achieved at least sophomore classification and demonstrated financial need. Preference to a non-traditional student from Southwest Colorado or Four Corners Region, who connects with the AAUW mission, and has experienced gender inequality in education. Award amount varies up to $1,000.
