Athletes To End Alzheimer's Scholarship

In honor of Stan Rabbe, a retired counselor at Durango High and Miller Middle schools, and others with Alzheimer’s disease, a scholarship is being offered called the Athletes To End Alzheimer’s Scholarship. This scholarship is for Health Sciences/Exercise Science/Public Health students whose life has been impacted by Alzheimer’s disease in some way. Minimum GPA requirement is 3.20. Financial need considered along with a general essay describing your educational and career goals, and how this scholarship will help you achieve these goals. Include in your essay the person you are/were acquainted with (no names please) that has/had Alzheimer’s , what your experience was knowing that person and how it has influenced you. Award amount varies up to $1000.
